About Tara

Sports Masseuse

Tara began her journey in the field of sports massage after an accomplished career in the ambulance service and raising her two boys. She qualified as a Level 3 ITEC Sports Massage Therapist in 2019 and further advanced her skills with a Level 4 ITEC Sports Massage and Soft Tissue Therapy qualification in 2021.

With a deep passion for helping people, Tara approaches each patient with warmth, attentiveness, and a genuine desire to improve their well-being. Her fascination with body mechanics and the incredible potential of the human body drives her to provide tailored treatments that address not just symptoms but the root cause of discomfort. Tara takes the time to understand each patient’s unique needs, ensuring her treatments are thorough and highly effective.

An avid runner and Obstacle Course Race competitor, Tara’s love for sports massage began after competing in Spartan Races and qualifying for the European OCR Championships in Holland in 2018. She has extensive experience providing pre- and post-event massages and has supported athletes at Ultra X events across the country.

Committed to professional growth, Tara regularly enhances her skills through Continued Professional Development (CPD) courses. Her growing toolbox includes expertise in Dry Cupping, Massage in Pregnancy, and Taping and Strapping for Athletes. Her next goal is to qualify as a Personal Trainer to further support her clients with rehabilitation exercises.

Outside of her practice, Tara’s active lifestyle and competitive spirit give her a firsthand understanding of the physical demands athletes face, enabling her to offer both empathetic and highly effective care.
