CHARTERED PHYSIOTHERAPIST & PILATES INSTRUCTOR

I’m Naomi, Owner of ND Clinical Pilates. I became interested in physio from a young age as I suffered from neck, shoulder and back pain associated with hypermobility. My training led me to a Masters degree, then to Harley Street, a short detour in Australia and back to Godalming where I originally grew up. While I certainly miss the sunny weather in Australia, I do love the community feel of beautiful Godalming. I sing in Godalming jazz choir – and do a lot of kitchen karaoke as well – and I am also a wannabe National Geographic photographer. I have recently moved closer to the Surrey Hills and am loving my walking commute, which provides me ample opportunities to play with my camera.

In the summer you can normally find me down on the south coast. I’m a true water baby and love sailing, paddleboarding and any other form of watersports. I’ve recently taken the plunge and bought a wing foil which will no doubt keep me….and the general public…..highly entertained. When it gets too cold to be in the water I can be found mountain biking in and around Thursley common, and I also enjoy hiking and skiing.

As you can tell, I like being active, and I’ve made it my life’s work to help others stay active too. I am passionate about helping people manage long-term conditions and my 20+ years of experience have given me a well-founded network of Orthopaedic consultants, specialist Physios, Nutritionists, Sports medics, Acupuncturists, Pilates instructors, Osteopaths, Chiropractors and Ultrasonographers which enables me to treat and refer my patients through their individual recovery journey. I’m also a believer in life-long learning so I enjoy attending courses to broaden my expertise – I recently qualified in cancer rehabilitation.
